My story
My journey into digital marketing started in a very hands-on way – running my own domestic cleaning business. As a busy business owner wearing all the hats (you know the feeling), I quickly realised how tough it was to find the time – or headspace – to market your business properly online.
But here’s the thing: I discovered I genuinely loved the marketing side. And, as it turned out, I was pretty good at it too.
So in my 30s, with a young family in tow, I went back to college to earn my Professional Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. My mission? To help small and medium-sized businesses tap into the power of digital – in a way that’s accessible, strategic, and results-driven.
I spent 5 years in an award-winning agency, climbing from Marketing Assistant to PPC Manager, working with a huge range of businesses (B2B, B2C, small independents to big-name brands). I qualified as a Google Ads Professional in 2014 and helped the agency earn their Google Partner accreditation in 2015.
After that, I stepped client-side as a Digital Marketing Manager, overseeing the entire marketing strategy – from a full rebrand and website redevelopment to PPC, SEO, email campaigns, events, and social ads. Within three months, I slashed their cost per lead from £350 to under £100.
Armed with a solid mix of agency and in-house experience, I launched my freelance business in 2018, specialising in Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram).
Now, I get to do what I love every day – helping ambitious business owners like you cut through the noise, focus on what works, and use paid media to fuel real, sustainable growth.
